Fullness of Joy

To continue the good news!

With the money from the birds that were sold, I booked the flights to go to Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship for myself and my friend Jackie from 12th-21st June, to attend the Bride of Christ Conference and to spend a few days sightseeing.

To my dismay, I was called into hospital for kidney tests under anaesthetic on the 7th June. However, they assured me it was OK to travel so we did not cancel. I was given a retrograde pylogram. I have a double urethra and the investigation showed that the urethra going to the top of the kidney was blocked with stones and was told that I would have to have further investigations after returning home. I was released on the 9th but on the 11th was put on antibiotics for a bladder infection. I was so uncomfortable that Jackie had to drive to London and we stayed overnight with my youngest son Nigel who very kindly drove us to Gatwick on the 12th where our plane left on time and we were on our way.

We had a wonderful time. The teaching was dynamic and the anointing of the Holy Spirit was awesome. Mike Bickle introduced us to the Song of Solomon which was not something for which I had previously had any sort of preference - let's just say it is growing on me, especially as I have a CD called 'The Passionate Bride' by Jeremy Sinnott which I play a great deal,and contains songs based on the Song of Solomon. I have now started on the Praying the Bible series, also with Song of Solomon and am receiving tremendous revelation of the love God has for us. Marc Dupont certainly gave us plenty to think about as did John and Carol Arnott. The whole experience has left me longing for more and more and more of Jesus.

I was prayed for several times during our stay, but had to seek medical attention for the infection on the Wednesday evening. At the healing meeting on the following Sunday before we returned home, Marti Haaija ministered and had a word of knowledge that someone had a kidney problem. I raised my hand and a terrific heat landed on my head and travelled down my body. I have had no more pain since then, apart from a minor twinge now and again.

We visited Niagara Falls on the Monday, travelling in style in a Cadillac and I am only sorry that the one photo I took the car and Kevin, our very relaxed and helpful driver, did not come out. We had our lunch on the balcony of a restaurant overlooking the Falls.

We had an excellent journey home and were very fortunate to pull off of the M4 during torrential rain just before a big pile-up.

When we arrived home I found an appointment for a CT scan on the 28th June and I highly delighted to find that my kidneys were completely clear. Once again I had been healed by the grace of God.

We had received an impartation to spread the fire of the Holy Spirit and for intimacy with God and were able to pass this on to many of our church congregation on the Sunday after our return. I had also received an impartation for intercession for Israel, something again, in which I had previously no interest. We are now look for great things to happen in our area - in fact that revival will break out in the very near future. We are only 5 miles away from the chapel at Blaenannerch where the 1904 Welsh Revival broke out.

On Monday 3rd July, I heard from Pat Norris (who had bought my birds) that one of my budgerigars has taken the Best Spangle and Best Double Factor Spangle at the Specialist and Rares Show and was now a Champion. She asked me to give him a name and I thought the most appropriate would be "Toronto Blessing" since it was the birds which enabled me to go to Toronto. She says she will send me the Champion Certificate when it arrives.

It arrived this morning 31st July, 2000. A nice memento of 10 years in the hobby.
